Starting Your Own Practice with UK ACCA

We offer a clear route to becoming a licensed, independent accountant under UK ACCA. Whether you’re still training or already fully qualified, there’s a structured path for you.

How We'll Support You

If you’ve completed the UK ACCA qualification and gained the required practical experience, you can apply for an UK ACCA Practising Certificate. This will allow you to legally offer a wide range of accountancy services — from bookkeeping and payroll to statutory accounts, tax, audit, and advisory work.

  • You’ll earn the globally respected ACCA designation.

  • With a practising certificate, you can:

    • Open your own firm

    • Serve clients across sectors

    • Offer full accountancy, tax, and audit services (if audit experience requirements are met)

Still Studying?

If you’re an UK ACCA student or affiliate, you can still gain experience and build towards your own practice by:

  • Working under an UK ACCA-approved employer or supervisor

  • Logging your practical experience

  • Completing the Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM)

Once you’re fully qualified and meet UK ACCA’s requirements, you’ll be ready to apply for your Practising Certificate and start your own regulated firm.
